Workday Student Transition Status
LSU A&M Status
The Workday Student Project strives for transparency during implementation. Major components of the system will be phased in on a rolling basis. This means some data is synced after we are live. The table below indicates the status of data syncs during the Spring 2025 implementation.
If you are a NEW (Summer, Fall, or 2nd Online Spring) or RETURNING student to LSU, your access to Workday will be delayed.
- Incoming freshmen & transfer students are given access to Workday on a rolling basis after registering for Orientation
- Incoming graduate students are loaded into Workday on a rolling basis after acceptance
- Re-entry students are given access on a rolling basis after admission
CONTINUING students who have log in issues –
- Employees and Student Workers who only see employee profile should attempt to switch
profile.
- If this is not successful, additional troubleshooting will have to occur in ITS to resolve your issue. Please submit a Service Desk ticket for assistance.

Student Location (On/Off Campus) | In Progress | Information is provided from an integration with LSU Residential Life and is being updated. |
Spring 2025 Course Enrollments for Student | Complete | Workday will be updated 1-2 days after a Spring course is dropped via MyLSU. |
Prior Transfer Credit | Nearly Complete | If transfer credit is visible in MyLSU, it will be moved to Workday. This data is nearly complete at this time. Some examples of items that may still be outstanding are study abroad credits or unevaluated credit. |
Prior Credit by Exam | Nearing Completion | This process is nearing completion. Credit will be loaded prior to course scheduling beginning. |
Summer 2025 Course Offerings (On-Campus & Online) | Complete | *Please note course locations, instructors continue to be updated & departments are able to submit additional changes |
Fall 2025 Course Offerings (On-Campus) | Complete | *Please note course locations, instructors continue to be updated & departments are able to submit additional changes |

Student Program of Study (Major/Minor/Certificate) | Complete | If a program is incorrect in Workday based on a prior change, students may request a change by contacting their advising office for assistance. Students may request program changes on their own within Workday. |
Missing Students | Complete | Students who began enrollment after initial data loads and some student employees are being loaded to the system in catch-up batches. Students in this population will encounter Log-In issues until their file is loaded in a catch-up. If needed, students in this situation may to get further assistance by submitting a Service Desk ticket. |
